Enter the Samp Sisters with their melt-in-your mouth waffles that make even an Alaskan winter bearable. A marriage of convenience, a bevy of murder suspects, and a shipwreck; there aren't many plot lines that this book leaves out. I've read my copy until its fallen apart. It was first published in 1930 but its timeless Loring.
