Life in the Marines

I bought this book as a gift for a preteen boy who fantasizes about being in the service. There's nothing like real facts to bring those fantasies down to earth. Life in The Marines instantly became a favorite, and he carried the book around with him for some time, even sharing it with friends. I was especially happy to see that the book was about making young men AND women into US Marines. There are other books in this wonderful series that covers exciting topics, including Life as a Paratrooper, Life as a Navy Seal, Life in the Army Special Forces, etc. Highly recommended!
