Life in Christ

This book is a study tool for those contemplating becoming catholics, as well as a catechism for adult catholics.

Time-tested Q & A catechism, revised in accord with the CCC

Since it's first release in 1958, "Life in Christ" has been embraced by over 2 million Catholics to guide them in the teachings of the Church. This latest, revised addition has been updated to reflect the Catechism of the Catholic Church; reportedly 25% of the content was changed as a result. The chapter on the Eucharist is especially good, with passages from St. John's Gospel and St. Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians included to demonstrate the truth of the Church's teaching on the Real Presence. Also included is a "practice" section at the end of each chapter to provide pastoral guidance. The book is handsomely produced and, thanks to its compact size, is "travel-ready".

A wonderful book for RCIA students.

I have been a Catholic for a few years now and this book is written very nicely and easy to read. No big words or hard grammar, just wonderful reading for the common person. I received this book as a gift I think the day I was baptized. This book can be found cheaper brand new else where, but pick this book up if you can. Also I recommend "Theology for Beginners" and "Catholicism and Fundamentalism".God Bless.

Wonderful Catechism for Catholics

Very informative and plainly written catechism of the Catholic church. Having been raised in the faith I've spent many years as a fallen away Catholic. Though I haven't had a resurgence of spirituality I do have a quite high opinion of both the church, its intellectual history and its theology. This isn't exactly Thomas Aquainas or St Augustine but what it is are simple and well thought out answers to what the church believes and why it conducts itself the way it does. Interesting reading and highly recommended.

This book was easy-to-read and very informative.

This book answered all of the questions that I had about the Catholic Church. I am currently in RCIA, and found this book very helpful and easy to read.
