In the book, Ellsworth Kalas alludes to the "undeveloped novelist" within himself. He uses this trait to create and share some of his best work. One can look at life from three perspectives, the downside, the upside or as it is. This book gives cause to look at life as it is with a nod toward the upside. Not a Pollyana approach...Doesn't try to accentuate the positive and eleminate the negative, just a realistic look at life as it is, giving reasons to hope for something more than gloom, doom, despair and "agony on me."
