Liberty at Risk

I used this as a text book in a course at Liberty University some number of years ago and then recently revisited the book. I believe now, as I did then, that it is a little bit too strongly in the direction of the "America as Christian Nation" perspective. Plainly God's Church strongly influenced the shaping of this nation and has had a profound influence ever since, but a more balanced approach is needed than what this book offers. Read this book for some very good insights, but don't only read this book.
