A collection of poems using the theme of imagination, by writers from Shelley and Robert Louis Stevenson to Eve Merriam and Shel Silverstein. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I bought the book because of Bill Bell's illustrations because I'm so fond of his paintings. I also bought it for my 5 yr. old granddaughter because I thought she would love the illustrations. However, when I received it (Oct. '99) I decided to keep it for my own reading pleasure and to read to my granddaughter. The poems are delightful. How many people know that there are five verses to "Twinkle, twinkle, little star"? This book should NOT be "out of print."
