Great Book for Kids 4 - 8 Years Old

I have 3 children between [...] old and they all loved the book. My younger kids loved the story and the illustration while my older child was able to add some fabulous new words to her ever growing vocabulary. A Great Find!

Both our 8 and 6 year olds enjoy reading this book and I enjoy reading it to them. The story is both clever and fun and the writing is poetic yet accessible. The illustrations enhance the story and are as fun and dynamic as the story is. Some kids' books are well-written, others have a fun story and others teach values. Rare is a book that can do all three as well as this one does.

In looking for a gift to give a friend with kids, I came across this book. I liked the theme -- that we all have something that makes us special -- and I really liked the idea of introducing art to kids. I received the book a few days ago, and it's terrific. The story is delightful and empowering, and the art is masterful. So I just ordered a few more copies for other friends!

As a parent and a teacher, I love this book! I'm sure it will fast become a favorite with its young audience; it's kid-friendly, hilarious, and affirming. Teachers will appreciate adding a book to their libraries that will make students laugh, but can also be used in countless lessons. The art references which enrich the text and illustrations can be launching pads for creative writing prompts, art projects...the possibilities are endless!
