it is a perfect transition from game to book!

It may have some different plot than the original but most is the same and I love the art style. In the game he was silent and strong while that is not completely different in the book link does have a wacky side as well but anyway 5/5 awesome book.

An Epic Story That is Retold Well

This was my first manga, and at first reading it right to left was confusing but I got used to it.It follows the epic story of the ingenious game in a general way, with several plot changes, for example:Link knows Volvagia the Dragon, and Link works with Mido, here a character with a much bigger role. The art is great and all the characters look even better here than they did in the game.I do have one problem with the story though, and that is that the dungeons you could spend months on take on average 2 to 5 pages. But other than this problem I definatly could recommend it to any Manga or Zelda fan who doesn't care it isn't completely the same as the great game.

Finally, Legend of Zelda's game stories as they should have been

I've been a long time fan of The Legend of Zelda since the NES era in the 80's, and while I will always love the games, one thing always got to be about some of them. The stories felt unfinished, lacking in areas with characters not fleshed out. This manga does just that and more. It could be seen as a Companion to the games. We all love playing the games, but when it's over, these books would tell you how everything we didn't see turned out. Also, finally, someone gave Link a voice; something that he should have had years ago.

Awesome Manga

My son has been Link obsessed for years, these are a wonderful was to encourage reading and flexible thinking.

Big fan, really pumped about getting this! Great!

I'm a twelve year old, and a giant fan of the game series. My sister and I originally started out with Majora's Mask, and we got frustrated cause we couldn't beat it. I used my mom's account to wirte this review, and it was a really cool manga. My sister found it at Barnes and Noble today, and I grabbed it so fast she was afraid she'd lose her hand. I love the newest game, and I'm obsessed with the series. I live in the States, so I just heard about it, and I really wanna get the second volume. If you're a big fan of Link's adventures, and the games, you really should get this. It's so cool, and it explains a lot if you're new to the series. It explained a lot to me. The artwork is amazing, and the story is awesome. Five-star rating for this manga. <33

An Excellent Manga for Fans of the Game

This is the first Zelda Manga published, and it is exactly how a series should start! It is based off the hit video game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. There are differences from the game and the story, naturally. Both are really good. This manga does an excellent job on taking the storyline and making it a manga comic. The artwork isn't bad either. In fact, the artwork is great. If you are a fan of the game, then this is the manga for you!
