You can tell the Author has been in the trenches of Corporate America and looked the layoff demon in the face. The book is written in a conversational style, so you kind of feel like you know this guy as you go along. The strategies listed are good, and when used, would truly protect someone from a layoff. I personally thought the Author could have elaborated more with some of the ideas laid down, but the whole book is all meat and no fat - All and all . . .a really strong book!
