Late Bloomer

The marvelous, interesting, and well-developed characters in this book made it a joy to read. I was particularly taken with Lola and her associates and their foibles. Michaels has the ability to create real people of all ages, and she does a splendid job with their interactions. Her plot is nicely woven as well, which makes for an eminently satisfying read.I especially appreciated how she ended the book, not resorting to any cheap tricks as a lesser writer might have done. Her characters were consistent, and their behavior was believable.Strongly recommended, and kudos to the author!

This is the first book that I have read from Fern Michaels. I could not put it down!! It is definitely a five star read!! I highly recommend this book without reservation!! It is the first of many I will now be reading from this author!!

I have just finished reading Fern Michael's new book, Late Bloomer and I enjoyed it as much as every other book of her's and I have read them all. I love romance, mystery and family and her novels include all of the above. Plus she always has a pet, usually a dog included and being a dog lover I enjoy this added bonus.

This book was a sheer delight to read. There was no foul language, no graphic sex going on for page after page and adding nothing to the story at all, just a wonderful heart warming story. The characters seemed so real, especially the three elderly people. What a hoot they were. I also like to see animals in novels and this author always has animals that are so easy to identify with or match up to your own animals. This book kept me turning the pages and I hated to see it end.

I knew from the very beginning that this would be a great book.The cover itself gives it a great invite into the book and from the very first page you are swept away once agin by Fern's wonderful writing- I must admit that I have read 98% of her books and never have been disappointed-
