Had trouble putting it down

It had a lot of twists and was a long story. I kept telling my dogs I had to finish the chapter. My oldest one gave up on me. The story had 3 different main murders and another location with minor ones that were all explained. Right up to the end I was as confused as most of the characters were. This particular version, the gold and purple one, included a short story I had been looking for - "John Doe".
Tess Gerritsen is one of my favorite authors!

I especially like her Rizzoli and Isles characters. She does a great job writing these books. I have trouble putting it down once I start reading. I have so many favorite authors it is tough to put them all down. I am a bookaholic so I read a lot of mysteries. I am not a fan of romance novels. I also enjoy C J Box books and James Patterson books.
