Time for bed, Little Tex. Rio Rosie, goodnight. Jump in your bunkbeds And close your eyes tight. So begins this dreamy, soothing poem that takes Tex and Rosie into the starry night. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I absolutely hate this book. The drawings are crude, the rhyme is boring, and the story is pretty bland. My son, on the other hand, loves this book more than any of his others. He simply will not go to bed until I've read it to him and demands to sleep with it. I have had to replace this book three times because he loves and looks at it so much. Given that the book is written for very young children, I think it's probably OK that I don't like it. My son loves it, and that's really all that matters to me.
Lassoed my son's heart

I have been reading this book to my (now 3 year old) son for at least 6 months now. It is by far his most favourite book. The language is brilliant, the illustrations are very retro cool, and it is a refreshing change to teddy bears. A classic.

I love the illustrations in this book. They are retro-cool! And the language of the book is so much fun to read. The kids snuggle up and giggle a little, too. I'd recommend to all. This is great for boys or girls.

This is a beautifully written little book; the illustrations are just as lovely. It should be a classic.
Lasso the Moon will lasso your heart

This is a tender and warm read-aloud book for little ones. The language is just right for a soothing bedtime story. I am buying up a bunch to give as baby shower gifts.
