The Best book that will help your precious teen girls learn how to give and get respect!!!

DON'T LET THE TITLE FOOL YOU! THIS BOOK IS THE MOST HELPFUL BOOK YOU COULD BUY FOR TEEN GIRLS! This book is an age appropraite book and teaches teen girls about how to be loved and respected by boys while stuggeling to grow up in a generation that grows up quickly! ALL TEEN GIRLS NEED TO LEARN ABOUT LOVE AND RESPECT! Being that I am a girl just out of my teen years this book has been amazing to read and learn from. This book is a fun, interactive and creative way to teach teen girls about love and respect. I wish i had access to this book when i was still in high school! Even though i am now a college student, I have found this book to be my handbook for helpful guidance that isn't always easy to find but VERY much needed. All paernts should give a copy to their teen girls to help teach them one of the most important things lacking in the newest of generations: RESPECT. Teens and parents alike will both love the book. Its an essential book for every young girls library!!

Wish I had this when my daughters were growing up

Every parent needs to read this! It stops us sticking our heads in the sand and ignoring what we really know is going on in the lives of our daughters. Every daughter needs to read this too. It is a handbook for dealing with the challenges of being a young girl in a fast paced society where the rules about what is proper and acceptable change every day. It teaches girls why making the right choices is really important, what boys are really about behind their brave exteriors and it sets out to bring back that most devalued of human attributes: respect. I keep my copy on my desk at work and everyone picks it up and tells me their horror stories of growing up and fumbling through relationships and intimacy. But my favorite comment from a colleague about the book was "that's exactly right, I married the girl who said 'no' to me". Let's hope Dr. Jenn can make sure our kids get the relationships they want by being able to make the right decisions too.

What you need to know

Read this book and you'll learn that things are very, very different from when you were a kid. In straight-forward language, Leigh lays out the terrifying new world of teenage sex, and gives solid advice how to deal with it. This book is a must for parents of teenage children, boys and girls alike.

A Must for Raising Teen Girls

Raising your daughter with self respect and self esteem is difficult in today's world of teenage sexuality. It's a topic they most often won't open up about to parents. Who can they turn to for sound advice and guidance? Dr. Jenn's easy-to-read book is the perfect tool for girls (and moms). Her no nonsense approach will have your daughter wanting to read more...gaining valuable information on how to handle herself with today's sexual pressures and to maintain or regain self respect. This book is loaded with tips on how to be a good friend/person in general. Why would you buy this book? I ask, "why wouldn't you?".

Well Written, in ADDITION to Being Solidly Researched!

It's rare to find a book that is both solidly researched AND well-written. Jennifer Leigh accomplishes both tasks wonderfully well in this provocative book. Not only will many daughters find themselves in the pages of Dr. Leigh's work, but many mothers will as well. I found myself continually invited to revise what I think about men, women, daughters and sons. We live in changing, challenging times.
