Knight on the Texas Plains

I was moved so much reading Duel and Jessie's story in KNIGHTS ON THE TEXAS PLAINS. This book was so rich in the western scenery and history that the scenes unfolded reading as if you were there seeing it all happen right in front of you. There were times I laughed, times I cried reading this book. The love story between them and their love for Marley Rose was a joy to read. The book flowed so beautiful as I read it, that it was difficult to put down. I feel in love with the characters and felt like I knew them myself after reading this story. I so much look forward to Luke's story in THE COWBOY WHO CAME CALLING. Linda Broday is an outstanding author I look so much forward to reading more of.

With her rich, multi-dimensional characters and extraordinary use of atmosphere, author Linda Broday creates a touching love story that blurs the lines of modern reality and immerses you directly into the heart of the Old West. Duel, Jessie and even Marley Rose are much more than mere characters - they are real people with real triumphs and heartbreaks that will keep you rooting for them until long after the final page is turned. This book is a must-read for all Western and Romance genre fans alike.

What an excellent read! Some of the issues probably would scare away anyone looking for fluff, but for those who want a five course meal and dessert, too, this will keep you turning the pages. I promise you'll laugh and cry, but you won't regret reading Duel and Jessie's story. They will steal your hearts. I can't wait for the next one that I hear is about Duel's brother, Luke. Personally, I hope she keeps these books coming!

Romance and Texas? Need I say more. The author gets you into the story with her writing style. Really flows.
