this book is a treasure

Kiss Me,I'm Single is for absolutely everyone who lives and breathes and longs for something more than the fairy-tale, miniscule and limited horizons we are led to believe are our due. Do not be fooled by the title which refers to being single, this book is a treasure awaiting discovery! Amanda Ford is brilliant. She asks all of the right question and she gives you answers without ever once telling you she knows or setting herself up as the authority. in the guise of a young person(could this author really be only 26??) and with fantastic wit she touches your heart. This book could be in the Philosophy secton or sitting next to the ageless wisdom of the seekers/masters. Everyone, male, female, young and old, alone or in relationship, here, there, everywhere needs to read this book!

Kiss me, I love this book!

"Kiss Me, I'm Single" should be required reading for every woman, regardless of relationship status. Poignant lessons on embracing love in every form and being true to yourself ring from every page. The personal anecdotes and heartfelt stories make you feel like you're having a heart-to-heart with your best friend - a best friend who just happens to have timeless wit and wisdom. I read it cover-to-cover in one night and will be keeping it close at hand for future evenings when I want a smile, a pick-me-up, or just the heartwarming sense that, oh yeah, someone else has been through that. "Kiss Me" is a rare gem: an easy-to-read that's meant to be embraced and shared with friends.

Uplifting and empowering!

This book is about so much more than just how to live as a single woman, it is in essence about how to live. Amanda's voice leaps off the page to envelop you in warmth and compassion. Providing reassurance, inspiration, encouragement, and hope, she gently reminds you that nothing is as important as it seems in that moment, that you have to try new things to discover your true passions, that nobody is perfect and that you should always, always try again. Reading the book, I smiled - recognizing my own thoughts and experiences in the stories Amanda shares, I shed tears - humbled by her words of awe and admiration for her mother, but most of all, I felt included - a part of something bigger, a sisterhood in which no matter how much you may feel like you alone are experiencing a particular problem, someone has gone through it before and all you have to do is reach out.

Really enjoyed this book!

There are so many things I enjoyed about this book. For starters, I loved Ms. Ford's voice. It's intimate and warm and welcoming. Reading her words is a lot like listening to a sister or a good friend sharing the best advice she has to offer on relationships, pursuing your dreams, loving yourself and others, and being consistently kind, compassionate and gentle with everyone in your life, including yourself. I'm also a fan of the book's cheerful hot pink and white design and layout. Ms. Ford courageously shares personal anecdotes about her own past loves that reveal a great deal about her depth of character and level of emotional insight. She also invites readers to share in the joys of the quiet, peaceful side of life that can be such an exquisitely precious part of any fully lived and fully examined life, solo or otherwise. I also loved reading what Ms. Ford has to say about friendships and the various roles that different friends play in our lives. Regardless of your current relationship status, you will find much to love and relate to in this lovely, heartfelt book.
