I must say that I haven't read this trilogy in years. I just finished reading the 4 Harry Potter books that are currently out and I've decided to pick up the Kirins trilogy again. I met the author when I was in 7th grade and bought the first book. He had just completed the second book and was starting work on the third at the time. I'm glad that he came to our class(he is from my area) and talked with us or else I would have never learned of the books. If you are into the fantasy and magic of the Harry Potter univers I would recommend this trilogy.
Quite a fascinating story line

I am surprised to see that I am the first to review this book. On the other hand, I can understand that it may not be a book that is widely known. Anyhow, This book is a fascinating tale of a small race of beings that have been forced to seperate themselves from humans, who have over time, forgotten they have existed. Now their exsistance is in jeporady and in their quest, must rely on the help of humans. It is quite a book, and I am sorry to say I have not read the followin two of the trilogy. However, keep in mind that this trilogy was meant to be read all the way through...there is not much closure to their events at the end of the book, as their travels are continued straight into the next book.
