Excellent Book about how to raise godly children. We should have had this book 30 years ago. You can be a mother or a father and still not be a parent. To be a good parent begins with God. A parent has the most influence in childrens lives. Our primary purpose of parenting is to produce righteous and Godly children for God. We are to raise up a child in the way they are to go, and when they are older they will not depart from it. We as parents need to know the way first before we can teach it to our children. Training children benefits both parents and the child. Children benefit because it prepares them for life. Parents benefit because well-trained, well-raised children return to bless, honor and respect them. Parenting was so important to God that he chose to send his Son to earth as a human child entrusted to the care and rearing of human parents. If we do our part in raising our children, God will do his part.
