Great reader for my 1st grader.
I can go over the list of "words to watch for" in the box before the story then let him read while I help the other kids.
I can go over the questions at the end of the story to make sure he's retaining too.
I like that the stories have good values and themed for desired character traits. So he's picking up on morals and coming from A Beka I don't worry about content.
