very informative if you have children/grandchildren who like to go on little day trips. ultimately you are adding history and geography without them suspecting anything.loads of places to see and go for every kind of enthusiast. also, it's year round for those dreary "i'm bored, there's nothing to do" days. i recommend this as a helpful guide to see what's in our own backyard without spending a lot, or only minimal expense.

from Deb B in Sunbury, Ohio: Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us. I purchased "Kids Love Ohio" when our son was 1yr old. He's six now, and in the past 3yrs we have visited about 50% of the places in Ohio, our home state, as well as North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Our next quest is Indiana. Hopefully, you'll head West soon, so we don't have to go it alone! A couple of years ago, I decided that your "Kids Love Ohio" book would be a wonderful and unique gift to give families expecting a child. It's always one of their favorite and most lasting gifts. Last year, I gave one to my son's teacher at the end of the school year as a "thank you". She was thrilled and spent the entire summer break exploring with her own children. Priceless...

We love this book! If you love to spend good quality time with your children; exploring new and exciting things, then you will love this book too. My husband and I have grown up in Ohio our whole lives and have never heard of half of the things in this book! It was like finding treasure! We have already made many wonderful memories with our family from reading this book. We homeschool and this is a great tool for taking many field trips. The book lists things to do according to area and gives important tips such as: parking fees, admission fees, contact phone numbers, etc. Some places are museums for learning and some are just down right fun! You will be surprised at how many things there are to do for free or little money, too. Who wouldn't like that?
