Callie Mae Lockett and TJ Grier were once friends. When Callie Mae and Kullen arrive at TJ's, Kullen scares off TJ's prized thoroughbred Blue Whistler. TJ takes Callie Mae with him when he heads out to find Blue, hoping to find the proof he needs to prove his innocence. Callie Mae wants to believe TJ but all the evidence points to his guilt. Will the long harbored feelings she's kept for him keep her from seeing his guilt, or is TJ really innocent? If he is innocent, Callie Mae is about to marry a murder. Kidnapped by the Cowboy is a story with a nice combination of romance, suspense, and action. The feelings TJ harbored for Callie Mae for so long are heartfelt and easy to see. Callie Mae's feelings for TJ run understandably from hate to love, and everything in between. Against all odds, TJ finds the truth, gets the girl and gets his much deserved happily ever after in Kidnapped by the Cowboy. I was rooting for him from start to finish.
