Josh McDowell's One Year Book of Youth Devotions

Josh McDowell has done it again! This is the second devotions book we have done with our kids. They are teens and need to see how God's Word is relevant to them. This book does just that. I bought this book for my 15 year old son to study on his own, while at the same time buying Josh McDowells Family Devotional 2 (which was almost as disappointing as Family Devotional 1 was excellent) for our family devotional. FD2 was a huge disappointment, so we started using this book for family devotions, and have found it to be an excellent book for that purpose. This devotional is absolutely wonderful in using circumstances that teens relate to in order to illustrate a concept found in God's word. I encourage all Christian teens to get this book! It is really wonderful in encouraging your faith!

This devotional was great. It addressed important issues in a teen's life and used good illustrations and stories to make concepts clear. The Bible, as it should be, was present in each devotion. I highly recommend this.

I've tried a lot of different youth devotionals. This is the first one that I've ever been able to stick with. I'll probably never use another book again--it's that great (aside from the Bible, that is!).
