Intelligent and tasteful humor; a book of quality grins.

I have been enjoying this book immensely. I don't buy much homor, but I find it's a delight to pick up when I want a laugh, or would like to share something with friends or a colleague.

A great book to browse through - a page or joke at a time

This is a great coffee table book you can read a joke or page at a time. I found myself laughing out loud many times. If you have a few minutes to kill or even longer, you can pick up this book, flip to any page and enjoy the jokes. If you are looking for specific humor, there are themes or categories of jokes available. A good source for the short jokes needed for a presentation or the water cooler.

If you enjoy Internet jokes, you'll love this collection!

Fred Ward, a serious journalist, has put together a zany, eclectic bunch of Net jokes that's practically impossible to resist. At first glance you're sure you've heard them all before, but stick with it. Many are classics retold, but many are new. Good medicine for what ails us, and a bargain at the price!

A Year of Good Jokes

Ward is famous for his gem books. In this one he has a gem of a book. Not all of the jokes are politically correct, of course--but no worse than Governor Ventura's in-your-face honesty. Ward has gone to the trouble of categorizing the jokes by chapters so if you don't like dumb blonde jokes, skip that chapter. This may well be the first in a long series of joke books since Ward has included his email address and no doubt will be inudated with jokes from the internet.

A real hoot from start to finish

From the moment I set eyes on this book, my only thought was: "Why didn't I think of that!" This book is a riot from beginning to end. The perfect gift. I give it six stars (five stars for the book; a bonus star for the Dan Quayle section). Do yourself a favor and buy it.
