THE TEACHER NEED SIMPLY PUT STUDENTS INTO GROUPS AND LET THEM LEARN. THE EXERCISES ENCOURAGE STUDENT AUTONOMY IN THEIR LEARNING AND DISCOVERY OF THE IDIOMS. LOTS OF CONTEXTUALIZED EXAMPLES ARE PROVIDED, AS WELL AS OVERT DEFINITIONS, ALLOWING STUDENTS TO CLEARLY UNDERSTAND THE IDIOMS. THANK YOU MS. This is just great! After I studied this book, I have been enjoying watching sitcoms and movies. The expressions that I studied in this book are frequently used by Americans! The expressions in this book are alive! I'm waiting for "Join the Club 3"!

Finally an idioms textbook with real expressions! I've studied English for a long time, and this is the book I've needed because it has the type of vocabulary I need to improve my conversational skills. My vocabulary has grown so much - I've learned hundred of expressions. Plus, by doing the exercises in the book, I don't forget what I've learned. The examples are so funny that I don't go blank when I need to use one. I can better understand all the English around me - I can talk to people more easily and confidently. Plus I can understand more when I watch TV and movies. It is so awesome to be able to hear expressions that I have studied in Join the Club 1 and 2. I'm also really glad to learn about slang expressions that can be used without offending anyone! I always thought slang was bad, but now I understand how to make the difference between "safe" slang and "dangerous" slang. Anyway, if you are studying English, I can really recommend both Join the Club 1 and 2 because they will definitely help you to improve your English.

I used this book for one of my idioms and slangs class and I enjoyed it so much. It was very useful to meet people, to understand movies and to have fun with foreign students.I made essais for my class and after two months I was able to write an essay with more than one hundred expressions, that was a great occassion to improve my writting creating stories to use these idioms and slang words.I recommend this book I will also buy the first one and I hope you will have the good idea to publish an other one because you already have a buyer.
