John D.: The Founding Father of the Rockefellers

This one is kind of hard to find. I first read it in 1980 and I am not at all sure if it is still in print. This is a well reasearched and well written biography of John D. Rockerfeller, the origianl and head of that particular clan. This book pretty well presents both sides of this man, his goodness and his not so gooness. Like all powerful men, John D. was not always the nicest. This is a part of our history though, warts and all, and is good to study. I did enjoy the author's style and did find this book to be a wealth of information. Recommend it highly.
