Jihai, Volume 1

If your looking for an original story not based off an anime i would suggest giving Jihai a chance. From what ive seen, this manga is very underrated. Jihai is about a boy name Aoi who has a little over a year left to live. His sole purpose in the beginning is to dedicate his remaining life span in search of a hero who took his friends life years ago. But things arent as they seem for Aoi... Volume 1 is a great introduction to the series but everything really picks up in volume 2. The whole series itself is only 3 volumes, so i would definitely recommend giving it a try!
