a great book

ms leslie wrote a great book here on her great aunt . go ahead . for lady randolph ms leslie stands with anne sebba.

Excellent biography

This is a much better biography of Jennie than the one by Ralph Martin. There is much less supposition than was the case with Ralph Martin's two-volume biography (in fact, none at all), and as it was written by a member of the Churchill family (a great niece) it also contains what I have to term "insider" information. Sometimes a family member will conceal what they know, but Ms. Leslie does not. So Jennie, with all her faults and her good points, is brought to life again, as are the times she lived. Ms. Leslie is a sympathetic biographer, without being too admiring; thus she strikes the right balance. Well written, and a worthy addition to a Churchill book collection.
