Camp Confidential Best Book

The title of my Book is Camp Confidential Jenna's Dilemma written by Melissa J. Morgan. The main Character in this story is Jenna Bloom. Jenna is a legacy at Camp Lakeview. She has a very bubbly personality. She loves to pull pranks on people who go to camp with her. The story is about Jenna and how she always likes camp but this year she seems to want to be just left alone. She always used to love to have her brother and sister around but this year she wished they would get out of her hair. Her twin brother is taking photography with her and he is doing better then her. During the story, her jokes become less and less funny. She just does not seem like the Jenna everybody knows her to be. Is it just her brothers and sisters who are bothering her or is something else going on? The setting of the story is a ordinary camp in any state. It takes place in today's time in summer. The theme of this story is that no mater how hard things can be, your family is always there for you (even if you do not think they are). I really enjoyed this story because I also go to camp and I can really relate what is going on. The fights, drama, and loneliness. It also had a very exciting beginning and ending. It really kept me reading. I did not want to put the book down.

Book Response

Camp Confidential Jenna's Dilemma By: Melissa J. Morgan This book is called Jenna's Dilemma by Melissa J. Morgan. This book is about a girl named Jenna Bloom. She goes to a camp called Camp Lakeview and she loves it. But this year there's a change. Her sister and twin brother also go to camp and she thinks that this summer isn't as enjoyable as the years before. Jenna's parents got divorced this year and her sister is acting like her mother. Her brother is in a higher swimming group and that is making Jenna mad. What I loved about this book was whenever I started reading it I didn't want to put it down. If I came to the end of a chapter I kept on reading it until the end of the exciting part. I could picture in my head the characters of the book. In one scene they were dying a girl's hair "Ronald McDonald" red and I could picture it right in my head what they were doing. Also the ending was great. It was not like usual books where they go home happy, but Jenna tried something she didn't think she could do and succeeded! The kind of writing that Melissa J. Morgan does is cool. She writes all these other books in the series that are really fun too. She describes the characters so well with all of her details. I really feel like I know them when the story is over. Another thing is that you can almost hear her voice talking in all of her stories. She really develops all her of the different characters. The vocabulary the author uses is exactly how kids that age would talk. I would give this book an A-. Once I started reading this book, I really didn't want to put it down. I think most 11 or 12 year old girls can really relate to this book. Most of my friends go to overnight camp and this book really shows camp how it is. The Camp Confidential series are really great books. I especially liked this story. It talks about people and their secrets. Also it shows how real friendships can form at camp. I have really strong friendships with my camp friends. Another thing is this is a good book if you're scared to go to overnight camp and you'll learn how much fun it is.

Jenna's Dilemma

-Jenna Bloom has been going to camp for four long years. But lately she feels like she is being babied by her twin brother and older sister and that she is a snob to her friends. It seems like she is getting in more trouble with pranks than before. Not only is she faced with a trouble at camp, but one at home. What's up with Jenna? -This book includes in the story: pranks boys loads of yummy packages Jenna's problems and more! -I loved this book as much as the first! I read it in one day! It really make we want to go back to camp this year.
