Text and photographs follow a child's airplane flight to visit Grandma and Grandpa, accompanied by his parents, and highlighted by a trip to the cockpit. On board pages. This description may be from another edition of this product.
My son loved to hear this read to him over and over again. The book walks a child through all of the details of what to expect in air travel. It's a little dated (with the flight attendant serving meals and the kindness of security personnel) but a child gets a pretty good idea. It is also pure entertainment for a pre reader with fun colors and photography. Jill Krementz is a favorite of mine and I'm passing her books, many of which are hard to find these days, down to my grandchildren.
Jamie's Airplane Flight

This is a great book! Jamie goes on an airplane with his Mickey doll! He watches the planes land and take off, has some peanuts for a snack, takes a nap, and even meets the pilot in the cockpit! I like the ending when Jamie meets his grandparents at the airport. They say, "Hello, Jamie. How was your trip?" Very cute book! Buy it now!
