Terrific author

I have read almost all of Lynn Andrews' books and highly recommend each of them. Anyone interested in an alternative view of spirituality, a fascinating presentation of personal growth, and a rivoting adventure will be thrilled with any of Ms. Andrews' books.

Lynn Andrews fan

Another in Lynn Andrews series another fantastic read. I find it hard to put these books down once I have started them.

Female POV on Shamanism

I picked up this book at a used book store after having a vivid dream about a black jaguar the night before. Not knowing what exactly i was getting i had no expectations. I began reading it that night and finished it the next day. I enjoyed it so much that went back to the book store to pick up the rest of the trilogy. All in all it was an entertaining, fascinating read. Andrews is a good story teller, she manages to write detailed yet straight to the point accounts of events, keeping the book short and sweet. Being a woman i could really appreciate reading about shamanism from a female perspective, a subject i often find is writen by men. The characters are likable and her adventures mystical. I enjoyed the book and recommend reading it especially to women in search of there own personal power. :)

jaguar woman and the wisdom of the butterfly tree

I am in the process of the reading Lynn Andrew's seven book series. Therefore, I do not recommend that anyone try and read this book, before reading the first two books in the series. The jaguar woman so far has been one of my favorites. Lynn continues take her readers on her journey, of adventure and self discovery.

Step out of yourself, place, and time for a mind-trip.

This is a haunting tale that takes you out of yourself, actually almost out of "humanness" to reflect on what it is to know something or somebody. Did this really happen? Was it all a halucination? A dream? Or can we really exist beyond ourselves and learn to know in a new way? I read the book 3 years ago and it still haunts me on occassion. It is written from a perspective so totally different that it makes you step away from yourself and look afresh at your own world, works and thoughts.
