Jack Kent's Fables of Aesop

By using a yet another version of Aesop fables (V. S. Vernon-Jones)as a take off point, Kent, has given these stories a new dimension of humor. The stories have the same moral, but they are written and illustrated with a new twist. Being a free-lance commercial artist gives a special flavor to his illustration of the fables. This is an excellent book to have students compare to the original and newer versions of Aesop fables. Students can have a concrete idea of writing and illustrating the same information using more than one approach. This book is morally educational as well as funny!
