Itations of Jamaica and I Rastafari

This a lovely book to read for anyone interested in RastafarI or a Rastafarian themselves. The pictures only add to the beautiful images that the poems create in the reader's mind.

Just wanted to let u know that there are at least to more books in this set, Itation 2+3, i have Book 1, a great read, mainly composedf of poems and spiritual words, has a section on the Arawaks, and loads of beautiful pictures of Jahs Work (Flowers!!) lovely, a must to all Rasta's or anyone interested. Reading the Itations books is always like goin' home, comforting and blessed with words and images of Jah. Like no other book I have ever read, I use quotes from it to help my friends when they are in need of spiritual advice. Give Thanks and Praise to Millard for sharing these works.

although a book that is rarely ever seen other than at a ROOTS REGGAE shop or maybe even a DEAD HEAD store, this is DEFINATELY the most beautiful, picturesque, and inspiring book on the life of rasta. the photo's, essay's, poetry, biblical passages all contribute to the magic within the two covers of this book. be forewarned, this book is not necessarily meant to be an introductory book into the rasta culture...this book is DOCUMENTING the rasta. although, granted, this book is not for everyone (yet), if you have any interest in the ways of island culture and the place of the rasta movement in our world, please pick up this beautiful book. i feel that the second itation wasn't as strong as this, the first. the third is also fairly interesting but this first and original itation is THE ONE.
