Finding True Love.

This was my very first romance novel which opened the doors for other romance books. I've read this book twice and could read it again and again as if it was the first time reading it. Sonya Icilyn did a great job describing the characters and scenes of Jamaica and England down to the tall dark and handsome Colebert Richmond what man, what man. If you haven't read this book pick it up today. This should indeed be made for TV movie.

This book had an excellent story line

This was the best Romance book I have read in a long time. Not just because of the romance but because the side plots. The book has action and adventure also. She did an excellent job in describing the characters. You really felt that you were there.

Tortured souls find love in Jamaica, but can they keep it?

Carlayne McIntyre had reinvented herself and was now a confident, successful young woman running her own advertising agency. She had lived her affair with a famous boxer in the public eye, and their break-up was still fodder for the media. When she traveled from her London, England, home to Jamaica to bid for the account at Linden Vale Plantation, she was determined to remain cool and businesslike toward its owner Cole Richmond. Cole had just inherited the coffee plantation from his grandfather and is determined to make it a success. After Carla wins the account, she has a week in Jamaica to discuss and finalize her plans for the growth of the plantation. Carla and Cole both have old baggage. Carla does not get along with her mother and feels she will be unable to live up to the self-righteous person her mother is. She is also burdened with nightmares that have been plaguing her for years. Cole's mother died without revealing to him who his father was, and his cousins highly resent him as the heir of the plantation they have lived and worked on all their lives. The description of the beautiful scenery of Jamaica and the rich history surrounding the slave who built Linden Vale Plantation is worth the read.
