I have helped many women with menopausal hot flashes with Iodine supplements. The iodine/iodide mix as is found in Lugols solution is ideal. Iodoral works and so does Standard Process's Prolamine Iodine. Just depends on the amount needed. Hypothyroid patients are who I am going after now in my practice and I can see promise.
