What an enjoyable read!! A not too gruesome mystery and a little romance - just the way I like it. As a former Philadelphian, it was fun to read about all the locations that were so familiar to me. Characters were well drawn and left you wanting to know more about them and where they went from there. Ordinarily, I'm not a huge fan of mysteries but this was a delightful change of pace for me.

Invisible Loyalties is a great quick read for the summer. The mystery grabs you from the start. Who would shoot an older Jewish woman in the Saks parking lot? As we learn more about the victim, we can understand why someone might find her irritating, but murder is a bit extreme. Ms. Muzi weaves a plot that kept me reading "just one more chapter". None of the persons of interest are beyond suspicion and neat little clues are inserted that made me say "aha" at the conclusion.
