This Debra Webb book started off a little shaky but finished with the usual flair I expect from a Colby Agency book. Victoria Colby-Camp has reduced the requirements to include anyone over the age of 20 and experience is no longer a necessity. Todd Thompson was just fired from his investigations job after he took pictures of the person he believed was having sex with the competitor- only to find out that the person was the daughter of a senior partner and undercover, both literally and figuratively. Serena Blake has just hired the Colby Agency to locate her missing sister, Molly Landon, although she has only revealed that Mollly is a close friend and the wife of her boss; Molly and Serena were separated at a young age and adopted by different families. The Colby Agency hires Todd on a trial basis. His first assignment: babysitting Serena and reporting back all possible leads to the primary investigator, A.J. Braddock. Who is behind Molly's disappearance? Will Todd be able to overcome his tendency for brashness and overconfidence? You'll have to read this one to find out these answers and more! Overall, I do recommend this book although Todd's initial cockiness wasn't very appealing and I found him a difficult character to care about. However, he did grow up during the book and became more likeable as the story progressed. This one is worth reading although it is not Debra Webb's best Colby Agency book.
