My daughter is using this book for an honors journalism course in high school. She is satisfied with the book and finds it easy to understand. It covers law, ethics, and policies. Libel, slander, invasion of privacy are all discussed - - -though do real world journalists follow these teachings? Perhaps not. The book also talks about how to generate story ideas, conduct interviews, write stories, make quotes, use a style manual, write editorials, cover sports, and manage photojournalism.
