THE BEST BOOK EVER

I LOVED this book. I've read it at least five times now.... and the story gets better and better with each sequel (Song of the Sea, Weather the Storm). The book just envelopes the reader in the story and is so enjoyable one can never put it down! It brought me to another place, a wonderful escape, such a sweet love story. Ahh if only it could be real, hehe. Great book!

Into the Wind

I loved this book and all the rest of the series! The second and third books of the series may not be for younger readers but I loved them! As soon as I started reading "Into the Wind" I was deaf to the world. I love how I felt like I was IN the story, watching what was happening to Rosie and Raider first hand. I wish I could find these three books for sale somewhere, they're definitely worth the search! Anyway, I would highly recommend the whole series for a fantastic Young Adult Romance Series!

Best books I ever read!!

Into the Wind, Song of the Sea and Weather the Storm are my three favorite books of all time!! Unfortunately I loaned Into the Wind and Weather the Storm to someone and never got them back :( I've been searching for copies of the two books but have been unsuccessful( for like two months) Well, I recommend it to everyone and if any one has copies of into the Wind and Weather the storm they wanna sell me, please do!!

Great book!! AND historically accurate.

I was honestly very very shocked to find bad ratings on this review list. I loved the book and I am very critical of books. It was a fun, adventuresome read. Although one person said it was not historically accurate, I disagree very much. I have studied the War of 1812 and Jean Ferris did an excellent job at recreating the naval part of the war. Privateers were very important in that conflict. I LOVED this book, it was a wonderful, entertaining read. Please read it, you'll enjoy it!

I loved it!

This book isn't meant to be a classic, or completely accurate as far as it's historical aspects. The point is to get your heart racing because it is a fantasy novel. I couldn't put it down once, and as soon as I finished I was out looking for a sequel.
