Satan has a unique strategy for every culture. In North America today he has chosen the rat race. Keep Christians too busy doing good things that they forget Who they are doing them for! This short book (80 pages) by Swindoll is one of the most practical books I have ever read. It will be difficult to practice, but if you want to establish a meaningful, full, devotional life, this may be the best thing you can get. It is profound in its simplicity. Gut wrenching in its difficulty to accomplish.

I could never imagined how taking the time to enjoy solutitude with my Lord and Savior was what was missing from my life. Swindoll reminds us that when we are sooo busy, we are missing what is most important--HIM, our Almighty, the great I AM.
