Beautiful

Another enriching collection of Osho's thoughts. How can one love another without first loving themself? How can one trust another without trusting themself? So often we look outside ourselves when the answers have been within us all along.

After reading it myself.. I bought more copies for family and friends

Osho is the greatest, and this is one of my favorite books of his teachings. He is so wise, and helps in so many different ways for me to see the ego I am living in which makes me anxious, gives me shallow thinking and breathing, and prevents me from seeing the world as it really is, ie. in the present moment, instead of colored by the past, or by thoughts of the future. This book focuses on how living in our usual mind sets keeps us, through fear and ignorance, from intimacy with ourselves, with others, and with the Earth and the Universe itself. I have given copies to my two adult children and a close friend and they seem to enjoy the book as much as I do. It is one you'll read over and over.

Only if I knew this three relationships ago!

It's never too late to learn to love and be loved! This book was enlightening - it helped me to understand myself within an intimate relationship and also how I relate to all people. Some of what you will learn: you must first love and accept who you really are to love another..live in the moment not the past or future...to trust another (the ultimate respect one can give) you must first trust yourself...love does not possess...be insecure in love NOT secure (security will never satisfy you!)...live life like a child...it's okay to be selfish...love doesn't think in terms of uglyness or beauty...it is rare to find a person that totally fits with you...don't be in a hurry to marry...spiritual harmony is most important in a relationship. The book is very well written (Osho does not write to impress) and full of wisdom! You will never be the same within a relationship after reading it, I promise!

Intimacy From the Inside Out

Osho writes with such brilliance, and brings fantastic analogies and examples of people who long for intimacy, and simultaneously destroy it. People that are searching, be it for spiritual growth, career growth, or material success, they are searching everywhere but within. Through this fantastic book, you will learn how to trust yourself to be vulnerable with yourself first so then you can share genuinely with another. You will learn how to define what you love, and how to embrace this moment, create the relationship you have with yourself, so you can then RELATE to another. There need not be a ball and chain around your neck, and this book will help you to see that if anyone has been preventing genuine and authentic intimacy in your life, it is you, and your fears. Through this book you will learn how to uncover them, and get to know and truly love the REAL you, so you can then love another and feel safe, comfortable, and free at the same time. Osho's writing style is tremendously enjoyable to read. His wisdom is profoundly enlightened, and this book will truly help you uncover much about yourself in the relationship department. Highly Recommended! Barbara Rose, author of "Stop Being the String Along: A Relationship Guide to Being THE ONE" and 'If God Was Like Man' Editor of inspire! magazine

I LOVE this book!

Within these pages, lie some of the most profound and crystal-clear insights I have ever read on the subject of love and what it really means to be intimate with yourself and with another. In a world frought with false images and personages, seeing behind the masks we wear is vital to the health of our relationships and ultimately to the quality of our lives. Only an enlightened being such as Osho is capable of expressing so articulately what lies beneath the surface in our encounters, what is real and what is unreal, and how best to nurture ourselves and each other. Everyone--in any sort of relationship--will benefit from the wisdom in this beautiful volume. This book is one of my all-time favorites!
