I am a technical book author and I rarely buy other people's books, unless it is for some business purpose. I bought Allen's book after evaluating it in a book store. While it is true that writing ANY book is hard work, it's clear to me Alan worked very hard because he did a great job. When I bought it, I had just finished writing a study guide for the IIS 3.0 exam. Therefore, I all ready knew a lot about IIS 3.0; I was just so impressed with work, I had to buy it.
