International Childrens Story Bible with Handle

I purchased this book to help answer questions that my 5 year old was raising. It's simply written and the text is pretty true to the Bible. This book/Bible is allowing me to answer my daughter's questions in a thoughtful manner.

This Bible hits on the beloved stories we all learn as children and it's a fairly extensive list. There are 45 total stories taken from the Old Testament, 60 from the New Testament, and 16 stories coming from the book of Genesis. For each Bible story, the portion of scripture is summarized in two short paragraphs and the corresponding illustrations are done by children from around the world. I have used these stories for Sunday School lessons and they keep the childrens' attention. They love the differences in artistic styles and interpretations. They can see that no matter where in the world a child lives, they learn the same Bible stories. All ages will enjoy!

I used this book with my Pre-K students and they LOVED the fact that children around the world did the illustrations. Those illustrations inspired my students to draw more. The stories were short and held their attention while communicating Biblical facts.

This is the perfect beginners bible story book for preschool children thru 6-7 years old. The stories are short and to the point and on a level they can understand, while holding their attention. The stories are short enough that it would make a nice bedtime story book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that wants young children to learn about God and the Bible.

I am a CCD teacher and I read this book to my 1st grade class and they can't keep their eyes off the book and they remember the stories and can't wait for me to read the next one. It is written in story form so children can easily understand and remember the stories of the bible. I would highly recommend this book and I think you will enjoy it as much as the children.
