A Powerful Book About Inspring Myself

This is such a great addition to books I already owned by Vernon Howard. Each story followed by words of wisdom is very heartwarming. There is always meaning to every word that I find myself thinking. It always inspires me to be good.

This is a great daily meditation book or to use when you feel down, frustrated, or like giving up. Open randomly to any page and there is always something there to inspire your self with, positive messages that help to get you moving through your day, bringing hope back into your thoughts. When you feel like you cannot do one more thing, put up with another icky day or mood, the walls feel like they are closing in on you or you are on overwhelm, then pick up this book and take a quick read. For instance on page 62, the Sparrow's Compliant, a wonderful insight into self and others. Blessings, Enjoy this book, mine is well read and still of use.
Valuable Wisdom

This is the first Vernon Howard book I read and as I was first glancing at it at the store I realized it had answers I had been looking for for a long time and I just had to buy it. The book contains short, paragraph - long stories that illustrate a point of wisdom. As one story points out - "If we could only see it, we are at the mercy of absolutely nothing except our own wrong thinking." Vernon Howard's teachings are mainly about how we are not our thoughts, we are something beyond that and we can experience this through study and practice. As far as this book goes it gives many new ways to look at things and experience life. If you are interested in trying out Vernon Howard I recommend this book or "The Power of your Supermind" as a first read.
