I agree completely with John Nagiecki's comments below, dated September 4. As the co-author of this book, I can verify that the review dated August 30, 2001 is a work of fiction. The "quote" cited by the reviewer does not appear in our book.

I am one of the authors of this book. The review submitted by an annonymous reviewer on August 30, 2001 is entirely false and contains a quote that does not appear in our book. It is also libelous and should be removed at once.

I stood in the bookstore for hours and looked at books about Sonoma/Napa but couldn't find one that neatly sat the fence between budget and splurge, which was what we were going to be doing on our vacation. Sight unseen, I purchased this one online, and was really glad I did. It doesn't miss a thing -- from Bed & Breakfasts to Spas to Restaurants to Wineries to Shopping. If anything, it's too complete and gives you all the additional information you'd need if you were going there to live. You never can have too much information. It is chock full of stuff and highly recommended.
