Inside My Heart

The book "Inside My Heart" by Robin McGraw is a wonderful book. She is so intouch with herself and very caring about those around her. She will help anyway she possibly can. This book helps to show you, you aren't alone in some of the "nonpleasant things" in life. You aren't the only one these things have happened to and it can be overcome.Time is a great healer as is faith and prayer.

Robin's book is a breath of fresh air!

Dr. Phil's wife Robin shares some of her life stories with candor and charm. No, she hasn't done anything "famous", other than live her life, which included significant hardships, with inspiring courage, adaptation, and cultivated happiness. As her life unfolded, she went through a wide range of humorous situations, to tender moments, to serious trials, like most of us. What a breath of fresh air that she has chosen to be a victor instead of a victim. She writes like she's sharing with some girlfriends while walking down the road together. She's not perfect, but she has an appealing zest for life. I really enjoyed this book; Robin has a lovely, positive life attitude, looking to God for help always, and I view her as an example of a mature, healthy woman who would be a great friend!

Thank you Robin!

This is a fabulous book filled with common sense (which is not so common, after all!). Robin shares her perspective on being a wife, mother, daughter, daughter in law and most of all a woman. It's not a "self help" book, but more of a "this is how I did it, you can do it too" book. I really liked that she spoke about how women need to put themselves first (self care) on all levels to fill whatever roles we need. And the personal devastation she went through in her own life because people around her didn't do this.

A Lovely read from a Lovely woman...

We see her on the Dr. Phil show everyday and wonder what is she really like. I couldn't put this book down. Mrs. McGraw truly reveals her past and present in such a moving way. I wept as she decribed her feelings about her children and let this book remind me what's most important in life. I cheered as she made choices in life that put a stop to hurtful patterns from her parents. And, I felt a sisterhood with this woman as she pulls back the curtain on her marriage - the good, bad and ugly. Her writing is just as lovely as she is. I recommend this book to all woman of all ages. Robin is a like a friend, sister and mom we can all look up to.

A Beautiful Story by a Beautiful Person

I loved this book. We can all learn so much by reading this and seeing how the choices we make can shape our lives. Robin writes candidly and honestly. It could not have been easy to write some of this but she does so with so much emotion and truth. Thank you for sharing with the world what has obviously been a very successful journey leading to a life of purpose and passion.
