When enchanted boots carry away his father and mother, a boy tries to find a way to fight the enchantment. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I read this to my children and it is one story they always remember and talk about. Richard Kennedy does not write down to children. This makes his books equally enjoyable for adults to read. This story truly frightened us as we read it, but the young hero faces his fears and keeps his wits about him, and the human spirit triumphs over the monster. A word of caution: this story could be a bit too scary for a young, easily frightened child.
