At first I was leery of a daily comic- they are usually so corny. But this one had me laughing out loud on th' pot. The meta take on comics is hilarious, and the art is absolutely top notch. I hope he keeps cranking out funnies. This works for your parents as well as your edgier friends.

There are several things that make this comic standout: 1) The art. It's phenomenal. Marvel Comics quality. 2) The premise. An employment agency for cartoon characters. Seems a little higher-minded than a talking dog, an irascible infant or a nuclear family. 3) The writing. While most newspaper comics seem like they're written by someone who's thinks they've got something else better to do ... Dunlap's characters have personality and complexity and the humor works because we like the inhabitants. I give it my highest rating.
