In the Arms of a Stranger

If you love old lighthouses and the beach, you'll enjoy this book. I found it in a library book sale and read it in front of the fireplace, so maybe my longing for a beach made it special for me. Laurel, owner and editor of her own small North Carolina newspaper, is stranded in a lighthouse during a storm with a stranger. Laurel and Drew are immediately attracted to each other but each has a secret to hide. When they meet again, they learn they are rivals in a battle over preservation of the lighthouse. Warm characters, a romantic beach setting, and some small details about running a weekly newspaper make this a fast, fun read.
