We are a small group reading the book and prompting discussions about what would Jesus do in our footsteps. This story really makes you stop and think.
A must read

A classic book, though it is fiction it will seriously challenge your priorities in life. The characters make a commitment to do nothing without first asking "What would Jesus do?", forcing them to reexamine their choices and decisions. As you see the self-denial they have to practice, and the results of it, it compels you to follow their example. I recommend this book to everyone.
Gentle reminder

This book although over 100 years old holds a gentle reminder that is still applicable in our modern society as to just what following Christ means. It holds no condemnation, simply a soft calling to everyone to be who God has created them to be in His love and grace. It is a book that should be in everyone's library to be picked up and read whenever one is feeling out of touch with God.
Outstanding educational tool - fun for kids

My children (8 and 10) and I read this book every night over a couple of weeks. It is designed to be read one chapter at a time with a lesson and related Bible chapters for discussion at the end of each. The kids were intrigued by the fictional story and couldn't wait to read the related Bible chapters. They enjoyed it so much that we started reading it again this week. We only wish there were more books like this available!
