In Enemy Hands

I had passed this book up time and again but finally read the reviews and decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. The cover is what misled me to pass on it several times- just seemed a little over the top, but the book is very well done. I encourage you to try it too if you like strong heroes and heroines!

I had never read this author before and was I pleasantly surprised. What a wonderful plot and the romance was very intense and real. I loved this book. The main character reminded me so much of Vin Diesel it was unbelievable. Very good book. I highly recommend this book for those of you who are tired of too much sex and not enough action along the way along with a good plot.

Loved this book for same reasons listed below so won't repeat. Just wanted to add that I especially loved the humorous moments. I laughed out loud at the description of Nadia as she was trying the get rid of the hiccups during her kidnapping. And the whole scene between her and Dante and the MREs. Hysterical!

Dante is a bounty hunter. He doesn't want to be a bounty hunter anymore and the money Vandergriff offers him could make this his last job. Dante has lost his own daughter, so helping Vandergriff get his estranged daughter back feels like the right thing to do. Vandergriff gives Dante a picture of Nadia, and he is stunned by her beauty. Seeing her in person, he is overwhelmed by his attraction to her. Soon after Dante finds Nadia, her life is threatened and he helps her escape the men chasing her. When the danger has passed, Nadia's bodyguards arrive to bring her safely back home, once there, Dante meets Nadia's stepfather Nick. The attraction between Nadia and Dante is growing and a bond is slowly forming, so when Nick offers Dante the job of being Nadia's bodyguard, he takes it as he is eager to stay with her. He realizes that this gives him the opportunity to get Nadia back to Vandergriff, but something doesn't feel right when Dante manages to deliver Nadia to the man that originally hires him. Realizing that he has made a terrible mistake, Dante now has to save Nadia and earn back her trust in the process. If he can't convince her and her family that he is on their side, the cost will be his life and Nadia's as well. In Enemy Hands is fantastic! It is action packed and deeply sensual and I was on the edge of my seat from the first page to the last. Nadia is just as strong and smart as she is gorgeous. Dante is all Alpha male; handsome and tough, he doesn't hesitate to protect Nadia in any situation. I felt that In Enemy Hands is perfectly written. The storyline is intense and riveting, and the secondary characters are very well developed. The sexual tension between Nadia and Dante had me so eager I was panting with each kiss they shared. Michelle Perry has written a truly captivating and thrilling book with In Enemy Hands. It's a must read for any romantic suspense fan. I can't wait to read it again! In Enemy Hands by Michelle Perry is a thrilling romantic suspense. I think this book would make a great movie because it is full of action sequences and is also a great love story. The chemistry between Dante and Nadia was there from the start. I really liked the humorous dialogue between these two. After Dante delivered Nadia into "enemy hands", I kept rooting for their safety but also that they'd reach that happily-ever-after and absolutely loved the final scenes that show this happening. I was also got a bit of an adrenaline rush from reading some of the scenes in this story. I won't include any spoilers about those scenes as that would take away the surprises Michelle Perry included in her story.
