In a Land of Hatred is the first in this series about the land of Hatred Blooms. It's a nice solid story with interesting characters. I particularly like that the goblins are portrayed with more depth than in most fantasy novels. I can't wait to get started on the next book.

It's rare to find a novel that's an enjoyable read with a worthwhile message that simply unfolds throughout the story without coming across as preachy.
